I iterated on the UI for my city design app, and simplified some of the panels. In this version I’m going for very minimal white colour theme. This is more common on the web than desktop GUIs. Desktop apps typically have grey or charcoal panels. Nowadays the distinction between web and desktop is very blurred anyway.

I aimed to follow the 60/30/10 rule for colour distribution. This being a 60% blue design, 30% white, and 10% bubble gum pink. It is only very slight pink line, so probably less than 10% to be sure, because of my fear of going too far with the accent.
