Once upon a time, philosophy was like the stained glass windows of a Gothic Cathedral, but the windows were smashed. The picture was fragmented. Beautiful things are inevitably smashed to bits and if something remains whole, it is not because it’s good, but because it’s no good and nobody has bothered to destroy it; Great theories are pointless. Love must always be dragged in the mud.
